The Basic Shape

Some covenants are made with all of creation rather than with a specific people or group. Their terms may still be works or grace — parties and terms are two separate axes — but their scope is universal rather than particular.

This page is not yet built. It will explore which biblical covenants fall into this category (the Noahic covenant is the clearest example) and how their universal scope relates to the covenants made with a particular people.
